The Subcontract Compliance Manager position is a multi-dimensional role that requires extensive leadership, management, decision-making, and data analysis skills. The position’s primary objectives are to lead and manage the team’s performance to ensure KBS and its customers are protected from supply chain risk by administering and managing all aspects of the subcontractor lifecycle. This includes the coordination of working with subcontractor sourcing teams, initiating the onboarding and qualification process of new subcontractors, monitoring subcontract compliance maintenance, investigating and resolving a variety of subcontract related disputes, facilitating and coordinating subcontract terminations and acting as a liaison with cross-functional teams.
As a manager, you will train, develop, and lead support staff.
- Develops or revises training documentation such as process flowcharts, guidance documents, and procedure manuals.
- Provides training and guidance to support staff to ensure their performance is focused on protecting KBS and its customers from supply chain risk
- Regularly meets with support staff to review performance measurements, provide constructive feedback, brainstorm and share ideas
- Assists with subcontractor contract negotiation
- Develops ad-hoc reports to assist team with tracking workload and status of ongoing projects
- Provides management reports as needed to Director of Subcontractor Compliance
- Assesses current processes on a frequent basis to identify process improvement opportunities
- Improves processes and documents procedures based on collection of metrics, feedback from team members, and approval from department or company leadership
- Sets up cross-functional meetings or conference calls to resolve issues, mitigate risk or discuss ways to solve problems and improve processes
- Works on miscellaneous projects and generates ad-hoc reports

Qualifications- Process engineering and database skills are preferred but not required
- Experience with contracts, insurance, legal, payroll, or human resources is preferred but not required
- Facilities Maintenance industry experience is a plus
- Demonstrates effective leadership, management, and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, listening, and conflict management skills
- Possesses adaptability, resourcefulness, ability to navigate varying requests, and stress tolerance
- Has excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Possesses strong mathematical skills, ability to analyze and disseminate data, and create reports
