Job Description
AM Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 an hour depending on experience

As a Fabrication Planner you will:Create manufacturing instructions/shop travelers compliant to STEICO Industries Inc. quality processes and procedures. Review customer Quality, Engineering and Specification requirements to include in the manufacturing instructions. Generating data packages to accompany the shop travelers. Generate aides to assist manufacturing departments.
What will my responsibilities include?- Interpret customer drawings/ specifications/ Quality Manual/ PO clauses and Terms and Conditions while creating manufacturing work instructions/ shop travelers to ensure we are meeting requirements.
- Generate Engineering drawing packets, coordinate data sheets, Weld schedule aides, Masking Drawings, Label drawings.
- Plot X,Y,Z intersection points, label locations and masking locations from CAD models.
- Creates Bill of Materials using customer provided parts lists, drawings and models.
- Creates manufacturing operation sequencing.
- Validating tooling, machinery and process capabilities.
- Verifying and Scheduling part manufacturing based off Customer purchase order/forecast.
- Perform document control of Engineering drawing packets, customer specifications and industry specifications in data retention system.
- Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate.
- 3-5 years’ manufacturing industry experience
- Blueprint/drawing interpretation, 3D modeling experience, fabrication and assembly experience
- Requires basic math skills. A strong understanding of Geometry is preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheets – formulas, graphs and charts
- Requires ability to assess facts and develop conclusions
- Must be able communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, both verbally and written
