GMP Operations Cleaning Supervisor - JLL (Swing Shifts)

This is a full time, on-site, exempt, bonus eligible position focused on cleaning and sanitization of GMP controlled areas in accordance with cGMPs, SOPs and quality standards.

The GMP Cleaning Supervisor oversees sanitization of controlled areas, maintains sanitary conditions, and ensures cleanroom records are neat and accurate. You will manage 8-18 union staff, enforce SOPs and cleaning practices, and ensure environmental monitoring results meet GMP requirements.

• Provide oversight to the union cleaning crew
• Perform cleaning activities as required
• Train new staff
• Ensure technicians adhere to SOPs and cleaning practices
• Provide guidance on technical, quality and compliance matters to the union cleaning crew
• Review and archive cleaning logs per area SOPs to ensure GDP adherence
• Verify proper sanitization disinfectant rotation and usage for each cleaning assignment
• Complete required GMP documentation for accurate records
• Oversee disposal of waste from GMP manufacturing process area waste receptacles
• Ensure adequate sanitization supplies are available and maintain organization of supply areas
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, GMP Operations Manager, and Quality teams to schedule cleaning to GMP requirements
• Participate in required training on sanitization disinfectants and equipment
• Follow cGMPs as outlined in 21 CFR Part 211
• Pass gowning qualification to enter and sanitize GMP process rooms
• Control what enters GMP process areas; provide refresher training as needed
• Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and PPE procedures
• Act as a backup to other Supervisors
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing (bilingual a plus)
• Ability to read, write and understand English documentation

• Excellent customer service with internal and external customers
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and company safety policies
• Attention to detail

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience cleaning a biopharmaceutical GMP environment is a plus but not required

Oceanside, CA

Swing shift - Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. This position may require work on weekends and holidays; weekends and off-shift hours may be required.

• No makeup, nail polish, or jewelry in GMP areas
• Standing, walking, pushing/pulling, bending, crouching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Continuous mental and visual attention to manufacturing functions
• Cleanroom environment; full PPE including gowning
• Perform sanitization with mops and wipers
• Work in adjacent support spaces to GMP areas to ensure cleanliness
• Potential to work near hazardous materials per safety procedures

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation: 81,000. USD per year

This range is an estimate and final compensation depends on qualifications, location, market conditions and company considerations.
