Raw Inventory Operator

AM Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM

As an Inventory Raw Operator you will be:

Responsible for receiving products, unboxing and inspecting raw materials.

What will my responsibilities include?

• Open order report and review incoming materials and prioritize receipts.
• Unloading raw materials and placing them in designated warehouse space.
• Receive, inspect and record shipments of raw material in ERP System.
• Maintaining material traceability throughout the process.
• Putting away prepaid consigned materials.
• Inventory Management – bin changes, audit materials to ensure system integrity.
• Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials.
• Recycling coordination with internal department and external vendors of cardboard and metals.
• Load, stack empty crates and/or pallets on trailer for recycling.
• Material rejections during delivery or work in progress.
• Support onsite TW material audits.
• Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate.

What key skills and experience do I need?

• Requires the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, easily understood manner.
• Requires English verbal and written skills.
• Ability to wear special PPE required to do the job (safety glasses).
• Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector/picking product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc.).
• Forklift certification through Steico.
• Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in a warehouse environment.
• ERP experience is a plus.
• Basic math skills to perform basic calculations such as addition and subtraction.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes and use of hand tools.
