AM Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM

As a Kan Ban Operator you will:

• Process parts through the Kanban production area, including cutting of material to specific lengths using horizontal band saws and chop saws, facing and deburring of tubes.
• Cut material to length with horizontal/chop saws based on start dates on the daily cut list.
• Facing tube ends using 2CP/3CP end finish machines.
• Deburr tube ends with a deburr machine.
• Trim straight tubes to customer‑required length using calipers.
• Log completed jobs in KPI/ERP systems.
• Bundle and load jobs to Bend staging racks sorted by job number, material type, quantity and center line radius.
• Perform equipment preventative maintenance, including checking belts, lubricating machines, inspecting and replacing saw blades.
• Maintain 5’s + Safety of department.
• Meet productivity goals set by department.
• Use required PPE.
• Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate.

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly.
• English verbal and written skills.
• Ability to wear required PPE (respirators and safety glasses).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes and hand tools.
