Manufacturing Bioprocess Technician I
Location:
Oceanside, CA 92056 Pay: $21.00–$22.00 per hour Schedule Must be available to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Day Shift 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday Swing Shift 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday Training:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM for the first 3–4 weeks.
We are hiring Manufacturing Bioprocess Technicians to support biopharmaceutical manufacturing in a cGMP environment. This is a contract position with the potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities- Operate automated manufacturing equipment.
- Prepare media and buffer solutions.
- Perform cell culture and purification processes.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP guidelines.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree, Biotechnology certificate, or Life Science degree preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to learn automated manufacturing processes.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 25 lbs.
- Wear required cleanroom PPE.
- Work in a cleanroom environment and follow gowning requirements.
