** What You Will Do*
* The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) will oversee and positively influence the delivery of optimal, safe, quality nursing care and regulatory compliance while providing leadership to staff by being an effective resource, role model, mentor and change agent. The ANM requires demonstration of leadership, clinical and interpersonal skills. The ANM is responsible for the day to day operations of their patient care unit or department while collaborating with the leadership team on staff performance and adherence to policy and procedures.

** Required Qualifications*
* + 5 Years years of RN experience, with a minimum of two (2) years acute care experience in area(s) of responsibility or similar setting, required.

+ 1 Year of recent Charge Nurse or other management/supervisory experience, required.

+ California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing

+ AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association

** Other Qualification Requirements*
* + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or may consider Associate Degree, Nursing (A.D.N.) with seven (7) years' experience as a Registered Nurse in lieu of BSN, required.

+ National Certification in area of expertise, preferred.

Required certification(s) in area(s) of responsibility include:

MS Ortho 1 North & Acute Rehab: N/A2P Oncology: ONS chemotherapy & biotherapy provider, required within 6 months of hire or transfer4P Monitored Medical Unit: N/AProgressive Care Unit: ONS chemotherapy & biotherapy provider, required within 6 months of hire or transfer, NIH SS, and ACLSTelemetry: ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale Intensive Care Unit: ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale Emergency Department: ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale;

NVCI within 90 days of hire or by the end of orientation, whichever comes first.
