Job Overview

As a Nordstrom Rack team member you’ll be continuously moving and collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers. Roles are available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment departments. The position requires flexibility to occasionally work in different areas of the store, maintain cleanliness of the floor and stockrooms, and help customers find great deals.

• Work with the team to keep the sales floor runway‑ready, sized and filled through re‑merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers when cashiering with a variety of transactions across in‑store, online and mobile platforms, operating a point‑of‑sale system, bagging items of all sizes, handling bulky or heavy items, and ensuring a seamless and friendly experience.
• Create a smooth fitting‑room experience by greeting customers, assisting them and sorting/returning clothing to the floor.
• Keep the stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset protection standards.
• Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.

• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders following packing and shipping standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general support to the store (set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns, relocate fixtures).

Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers; frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling; handling bulky items; regularly lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. For Stock and Fulfillment positions, frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

$18.85 – $19.65 per hour.
