Under direct supervision, the Dairy Deli Frozen Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The position will assist customers, clean display cases, clean shelves, and clean, fill and rotate the self‑serve displays within the Dairy Deli Frozen Department. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements.

The essential tasks and expectations include:

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
• Assist customers with product location and inquiries.
• Clean and maintain display cases, shelves, and self‑serve displays.
• Rotate and restock products in the Dairy Deli Frozen Department.
• Adhere to health and safety standards.

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and occasionally 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.
