- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment, preferably in a meat department.
- Certification in food safety or handling.
- Experience with meat cutting and preparation techniques.
- Prepare and cut various types of meat according to customer specifications and store standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat department, including equipment and display cases.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering recommendations on meat products.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering and restocking meat products as necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.
