Brand Activator - Oceanside

Locations

Southern California – Oceanside, Carlsbad, Cathedral City, Palm Springs, Indio, and surrounding areas.

Nevada – North Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Henderson, and surrounding areas.

Part‑time, consumer‑facing Brand Activator position. Hourly rate: $25/hour.

Role:
Lead sales, information gathering, and shopper tasting experience at grocery store events across the locations above.

• Engage shoppers about adult beverage interests in a friendly, approachable manner.
• Tell brand stories of represent products at the grocery store.
• Deliver a positive and memorable brand experience with energy and professionalism.
• Encourage purchase intent through knowledgeable recommendations.
• Arrive on time and execute assigned shifts, maintaining a consistent presence at the station.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies via the Hub as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sampling station that reflects brand standards.
• Capture accurate sampling data using the Hub App and portal.
• Submit event recaps the same day as each shift for timely client reporting.
• Use mobile tools and apps to track and report event performance in real time.

• Valid alcohol service certification required by state law.
• Ability to confidently engage with consumers and communicate effectively in public settings.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned event locations.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and scheduled shifts as needed.
• Basic comfort with technology (mobile apps) for data logging, reporting, and printing.

• Previous experience in sales, brand ambassador, or promotional marketing roles.
• Experience working in retail, hospitality, or customer‑facing environments.
• Familiarity with beverage/alcohol brands and sampling events.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales or engagement goals.
• Experience using mobile apps or platforms for reporting and data entry.
• Strong product knowledge or ability to quickly learn and represent new brands confidently.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for up to 6 hours during an event shift.
