Analytical Chemistry Scientist

Job Description We are looking for scientists across different levels of experience to support the analytical testing activities of platform methods across a number of mAb projects. Training will be provided and those with existing experience in large molecule experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of samples to support development of large molecule therapeutics.
• Provide testing and logistics support to therapeutic programs, e.g. Robustness, Method Development, and other studies.
• Provide laboratory support and fractionation to support extended characterization.
• Manage and coordinate the sampling, testing, and first level data review.
• At least one year experience in the relevant techniques, preferably in a commercial laboratory. Data review experience highly preferred.
• The tests performed will cover CEX, cIEF, CE, HPLC, and other techniques as required by the scope of the therapeutic programs.
• Data entry and review.
• Experience in ELN records entry and work flow. Good organizational skills highly preferred.
• Support laboratory equipment maintenance and management.
• Support other areas of the analytical development group as necessary to meet program requirements

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry or related Science discipline with at least 2+ years industry laboratory experience. Experience in labs with high volume sample count preferred.

Excellent organization skills, with ability to delivery of results within expected turnaround time, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication

• Position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Oceanside, CA are encouraged to apply.
