• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, dock doors, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, drivers, and/or vendors entering and leaving the location, following post orders and documenting security‑related observations as required.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by helping to verify authorized access to restricted areas, checking credentials when required, and communicating unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• A minimum of 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
