Job Description

Qualifications- 2+ years of experience working with fleet trucks (CNG), hydraulics, and automotive air conditioning (609 experience is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Own tools
- Availability for a 2‑week training program in Arizona
- Minimum education:
High School or GED - Over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam
- Starting salary: $38.05 per hour with a $2.50 shift differential
- Stable hours for financial stability
- Tool allowance: $1,500 per year
- Boot allowance: $300 per year

- Monday–Friday: 3:00 pm–12:00 am (3rd shift)

- Location:
Repair/maintenance shop at Oceanside, CA hauling site
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment
- Estimate time and material costs for repairs and new parts
- Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
- Conduct safety checks to protect employees and the public; maintain safety procedures
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times
- Assist senior mechanics with project work
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on driver vehicle inspection reports
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate/OSHA standards
- Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing of heavy equipment
- Constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
- Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, and other occupational risks frequently
- Work in indoor and outdoor conditions, including dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, heat, and humidity
- Work inside a garage/shop and at a gas plant under inclement weather and high temperatures
