Electrician Security Clearance

Position: Electrician with Security Clearance
Journeyman Electrician / Low Voltage Installation Technician Actio Net is seeking a Journeyman Electrician / Low Voltage Installation Technician to support electrical and telecommunications infrastructure projects in the San Diego, CA / Southern California area. This is a contract opportunity for a hands-on professional with experience performing commercial electrical and low-voltage installations. The ideal candidate has 2+ field experience, strong conduit and cabling installation skills, and the ability to support project-based work requiring occasional travel.

This role is well suited for a licensed technician who enjoys hands-on installation work and supporting mission-critical infrastructure deployments. Responsibilities:
* Perform electrical and low-voltage installation activities supporting telecommunications infrastructure, network systems, and facility upgrades.

* Perform Inside Plant (ISP) installation activities, including cable routing, rack installation, equipment connections, cable management, and labeling.

* Support Outside Plant (OSP) activities, including pathway installation, cable placement, and infrastructure support.

* Install and work with electrical circuits, panels, grounding and bonding systems, UPS systems, PDUs, and related infrastructure components.

* Install and bend EMT conduit, including 1" and 2" EMT, performing 90-degree bends, offsets, saddles, and back-to-back bends.

* Perform cable terminations, certification testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

* Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and installation documentation.

* Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable electrical codes, industry standards, and customer requirements.

* Maintain a safe work environment while working in construction, telecommunications, and outdoor field environments.
