This mid‑level Fleet Mobile Technician II provides high‑quality vehicle maintenance and repairs for fleet vehicles, focusing on exceptional customer satisfaction in a cost‑effective manner. The Technician works independently or in a team, reporting to the Area Fleet Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.

• Perform preventive maintenance: change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, transmission flush, and inspect vehicles for mechanical deficiencies; perform light repairs as required.
• Based on certification levels, perform various repairs and maintenance, including OBD II systems, brake components, tires, tune‑ups, suspension components, aerial lifts, electrical systems, state safety inspections, interior/exterior components, engine, and drive‑line components.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as cable trailers and laptop docking stations.
• Keep the shop area clean and tidy; perform work in accordance with safety standards and dispose of all fluids safely.
• Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records; up‑fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• Perform complex repairs, advanced diagnostics, and fabrication.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs; perform roadside assistance as needed.
• Design and fabricate custom equipment, including moderate welding.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic systems, generators, electrical systems, hybrids, and onboard computer systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of vehicle service and repair experience; 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum of 4 ASE certifications preferred.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
• Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb routinely.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Must comply with DOT regulations, including background screening and physical/medical card requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license; must obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File.

Hourly pay range: $29.09–$43.61 per hour. Base rate may vary by location and candidate qualifications. Position may be eligible for additional commission or incentive compensation.

Employees receive at least 6.67 hours of paid time off per month, seven paid holidays, and additional paid time off for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time, military leave, and parental leave.
