Position: Warehouse Shift Lead (3rd Shift)

Position Summary

The Warehouse Shift Lead is responsible for all warehouse shift functions including shipping, receiving, and product put-away operations at Suja Life. Ensure proper data flow through the Suja Warehouse Management ERP system Net Suite and RF Smart by utilizing reporting functions to monitor, adjust, and/or complete transactions. The role works closely with the Inventory, Procurement, and Logistics departments to schedule and ensure balanced, efficient day‑to‑day operation.

Schedule

8:30 PM – 5:00 AM, Thursday‑Monday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse workers to achieve productivity goals.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and timely replenishment.
  • Coordinate and oversee the receiving, storage, and shipping of products.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance warehouse operations.
  • Generate and analyze reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
  • Use a forklift as needed to support the team.
  • Communicate warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements; ensure staff meets requirements.
  • Ensure compliance to prescribed QMS, GMPS, and SOP processes.
  • Meet or exceed planned KPI efficiency and performance targets.
  • Perform data entry to complete transactions in a timely manner.
  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions related to safety, equipment operation, and daily work assignments.
  • Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Non‑Essential Duties
  • Perform similar and incidental duties as required.
Job Qualifications
  • 2+ years in a warehouse environment.
  • 2+ years forklift operating experience.
Education

Minimum:
High School diploma.

Experience
  • 2+ years warehouse/inventory management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and systems.
Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management, ERP processes, and systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
Language Skills

English fluency mandatory; bilingual Spanish fluency preferred.

Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude in dealing with staff, coworkers, and supervision as well as directly with buyers/customers.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.

  • Frequent standing, walking, and exposure to cold or wet areas are expected.

  • Punctuality and consistency in job duties and standard procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple facilities, material‑handling equipment, GMPs, and a freezer/cold environment down to –10 °F degrees.
