- Pay or shift range: $19 USD to $20 USD
The salary range listed is the expected pay range for this position. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by applicable law.
Position Summary
The Receiving Associate performs all functions assigned by the inventory supervisor and/or manager, including but not limited to, receiving, returns, stocking, selection, pallet consolidation, loading and unloading trucks, material supply.
Schedule
- 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
- Monday-Friday, with flexibility for overtime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform receiving, stocking, selection, pallet consolidation, unloading and loading as scheduled assigned including pulling materials for production.
- Operate any equipment training and certified to use in a safe and efficient manner. Equipment may include box cutters, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, or other heavy machinery
- Experience with storage bays, racking systems, following inventory control, and FIFO procedures.
- Maintain warehouse in good condition.
- Comply with all applicable health and safety codes.
- Other duties not listed here may be assigned by the supervisor/manager.
Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines when in the plant. - Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions related to safety, equipment operation, and daily work assignments.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- May perform similar and incidental duties as required.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Minimum ofaHigh School diploma.
Experience
- Requires two years of warehouse experience.
- Require two years of forklift operating experience.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of warehouse management, ERP processes, and systems preferred.
Language Skills
- English fluency mandatory, bi-lingual Spanish fluency is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude in dealing with staff, coworkers, and supervision as well as directly with buyers/customers.

- Comfortable with Microsoft product i.e.:

- Familiar with the process of moving goods packed on pallets or in bins amongst the facilities.

Working and Environmental Conditions
The position requires work in a wet refrigerated manufacturing facility with temperatures below 40°F. Additionally, tasks may occasionally be performed in a dry warehouse environment with temperatures reaching up to 85°F and/or occasional exposure to freezer warehouse conditions at
-10°F. Work areas may be tight and will require continuous exposure to noisy environments exceeding 85 dBA. Strict adherence to safety protocols is mandatory, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed shoes. The role demands the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and safely.
