Compensation
Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
The Program Manager Patient Experience leads a mission to provide high quality, safe, compassionate care at Mount Sinai South Nassau throughout the entirety of a patient's journey. Focused on a commitment to service, engagement, people and quality; this leader is responsible for providing oversight and expertise in planning, developing, implementing and sustaining the Patient Experience initiative at this organization. In direct correlation with patient experience performance from HCAHPS, OAS CAHPS, ICH CAHPS, etc.
and patient experience best practices, this leader will develop Service Excellence programs, training and education throughout the organization geared towards a robust service culture. With a strong eye for data analysis, this leader will manage, interpret, track and report HCAHPS results to target recommendations and initiatives for improvement.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• Bachelors degree required
• Masters in health-related field or MBA preferred
Experience And Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, problem solving, data analysis, staff training/ education, coaching
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• 2-5 years of healthcare experience
• Leadership skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including excel and word.
• Preferred knowledge of Press Ganey and Patient Experience surveying in accordance with CMS requirements
License/Certifications
• Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP)
