Reports To

Facilities Manager

Responsibilities
  • Maintain day‑to‑day facility upkeep and cleaning.
  • Preserve structural surfaces and assist with painting and light construction.
  • Participate in installation and maintenance of furnishings.
  • Support building projects, reconstructions, and renovations.
  • Assist with fire and safety programs.
  • Arrange meeting set‑up and refreshments as needed.
  • Monitor and act on work‑order requests logged through Track‑it to ensure timely service.
  • Manage health‑center complaints to enhance credibility and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with special events, errands, and regular facilities projects.
  • Maintain building systems and safety equipment for optimal operation.
  • Participate in client meetings and conference calls.
  • Perform occasional hands‑on maintenance (electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, landscaping, HVAC).
  • Provide input on equipment selection, infrastructure allocation, and performance standards.
  • Collect data and produce routine reports for project operations.
  • Identify and manage specialty vendors and contractors for equipment upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate trackers and logs for vendor interactions.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans and operator manuals.
  • Recommend and participate in continuous improvement and quality activities.
  • Oversee groundskeeping, ensuring a clean, well‑kept appearance.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Flexibility with working hours and traveling up to 30%.
  • A willingness to adapt to company requirements and continually improve services.
  • Computer literate and able to interpret reports.
  • 3+ years in maintenance, facilities, or handy‑work experience.
  • Hands‑on, self‑starter with aptitude for systems, mechanics, and structural components (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing).
  • Multi‑task oriented and capable in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Available on-call 24/7 for urgent needs at facilities.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, writing, planning, and evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining professionalism and tact.
  • Must hold a valid New York State driver’s license.
Salary

Commensurate with experience.
