RN Supervisor; Weekends

DResponsibilities of the RN Supervisor:

• Serve as liaison between the family, patients, doctors and other departments
• Oversee and manage nursing staff, LPN’s and CNA’s.
• Investigate all incident reports and follow-up
• Encourage all staff to adhere to the highest standard of care and conduct annual staff reviews
• Guide, advise, and educate nursing staff with clinical instructions
• Report nursing activity to senior management
• Supervise and support nursing staff
• Manage staff and assignments

Requirements of the Clinical RN Supervisor:

• Extensive clinical experience and RN Supervisor in acute or Long-Term Care
• Prior administrative experience and training in both nursing and administration
• Leadership and mentorship
• Infection control
• Organizational and Multitasking skills
• Listening and verbal communication skills
• Patient Safety focus
• Active applicable state licensure
• American Heart Association issued BLS
