Job Overview

Outside Sales – Roofing and Siding Specialist. This role involves selling roofing and siding products to contractors, retail clients, and architects. The position requires identifying prospective customers, assisting purchase decisions, advising on selection, processing billing, and managing delivery schedules. The role involves frequent in‑person and phone communication with customers and vendors, as well as coordination with manufacturers regarding quotes and lead times.

The candidate is expected to travel to customers and job sites.

• Identify and develop prospective customers.
• Assist customers with purchasing decisions and advise them on selection.
• Process billing of materials.
• Handle phone calls from customers and vendors.
• Set up deliveries and advise on estimated time of arrival of materials.
• Cooperate with manufacturers for quotes and lead times.
• Travel to customers and job sites as required.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 3‑5 years of related work experience or training.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working knowledge of database software.
• Experience in masonry and hardscapes preferred.
• Experience reading architectural plans for takeoffs preferred.

Expected compensation ranges from $60,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience. Potential commission opportunities are available.
