Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000
Location: Maitland, FL (Onsite)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, growing healthcare organization in a highly visible Accounting Manager role. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in overseeing revenue-related accounting functions, supporting financial reporting, and leading month-end close activities.

As the Accounting Manager, you will:
- Manage healthcare revenue accounting in accordance with ASC 606, including gross revenue, contractual adjustments, denials, allowances, and bad debt
- Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and oversee depreciation accounting
- Oversee payroll accounting and related reconciliations
- Support external audits with schedules and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance efficiency
- Partner cross-functionally to support business goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Direct experience with healthcare revenue accounting required
- Strong understanding of reimbursement methodologies, contractual adjustments, denials, and bad debt
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience required
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- CPA preferred but not required
- Experience with Great Plains, FRx, or similar systems a plus
- Exposure to AI-driven analytics tools is a plus
