Senior Accountant

Compensation: $70,000–$90,000
Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite)

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the firm's day-to-day accounting operations. • Manage the firm's daily accounting operations while ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all financial functions
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Oversee month-end and year-end close activities
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, client billing, cash management, and general ledger accounting
• Support payroll processing and related accounting responsibilities
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with annual audits and tax preparation
• Perform trust accounting and trust account reconciliations in accordance with legal industry guidelines
• Support special accounting projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience managing the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, financial reporting, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, financial reporting, and data analysis
• Previous experience in a law firm or other professional services environment is highly preferred
• Trust accounting experience is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
