A growing global organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting and finance team. This position offers exposure well beyond traditional accounting responsibilities, including international operations, multi-entity consolidations, technical accounting, acquisitions, and strategic finance initiatives.
The Senior Accountant will be an important contributor to financial reporting while working closely with senior accounting and finance leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant who wants to move beyond routine month-end responsibilities and develop experience that can support future leadership opportunities.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities across multiple entities
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and supporting schedules
Assist with consolidated financial statements, external reporting packages, and other financial reporting requirements
Research technical accounting matters and help ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
Partner with accounting and finance leadership on audits, acquisitions, integrations, process improvement efforts, and strategic initiatives
Contribute to cross-functional projects and other corporate accounting priorities as needed
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
CPA or progress toward CPA certification strongly preferred
Three to six years of progressive accounting experience
Public accounting experience highly preferred
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
Experience working with multiple entities is highly valuable
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work through complex accounting matters
