Position: Administrative Supervisor - Inpatient Rehab (PRN, Night Shift)
Position Summary Where You'll Work (and Why You'll Love It!) Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute offers comprehensive CARF-accredited inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs for adults, adolescents and children, with specialty programs in stroke, spinal cord and brain injury rehabilitation. A dedicated 54-bed rehabilitation hospital provides post-acute care for patients requiring medical and intensive rehabilitative therapies covering a full range of orthopedic and neurological conditions.

The facility has all-private rooms, three therapy gyms outfitted with the latest technology (e.g., weight-assisted treadmill, robotics for training in arm/hand coordination and walking, and communication-assistance technology), a simulated apartment, and an expansive outdoor space for additional therapeutic activity. Outpatient centers feature interdisciplinary teams working together to help each patient meet their individual rehabilitation goals and achieve the highest possible level of independence.

A Day in YOUR Life as an Administrative Supervisor The Administrative Supervisor facilitates timely and safe patient flow and provides off-shift management and operational oversight of the acute care hospital setting, and ensures the provision of safe, quality patient care.

Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute 1300 Hempel Ave, Ocoee, FL

Schedule:

PRN (as needed) One overnight shift per week 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Responsibilities Communication and Relationship Building Effective Communication: proficient in oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Relationship Management: demonstrates collaborative and collegial relationship skills, engages staff in decision making and exhibits effective conflict resolution skills. Influencing Behaviors: inspires desired behaviors, manages undesired behaviors and promotes decisions that are patient centered.

Diversity: values diversity and establishes a work environment that is culturally competent. Community Relationships: represents the organization as a resource to non-health care constituents within the community. Knowledge of the Healthcare Environment Clinical Practice Knowledge: demonstrates knowledge of current nursing practice, roles and functions of team members, patient care policies and procedures, and state and federal standards. Evidence Based Practice and Patient Care Outcomes:
Uses data and other sources of evidence to inform decision making and to interpret outcome measures. Patient Safety & Team Member Safety:
Supports a Zero Harm Environment and a Just Culture; responding and acting on safety recommendations. Process Improvement: participates in Gemba board reviews and process improvement work; internalizing one's role in achieving optimal outcomes for the patient and organization.
