Accounting Manager
Controller
Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 + Bonus
Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with a growing and well-established Architecture and Engineering firm in Orlando that’s looking to bring on a Controller. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll oversee the accounting function, work closely with executive leadership, and help guide financial strategy and operational improvements.

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Manage, mentor, and support a team of accounting professionals
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis efforts
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and maintain strong internal controls
- Partner with leadership to provide insights and support decision-making
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- Coordinate audit activities, tax filings, and external reporting requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Prior experience within the AEC industry
- Hands-on experience with Deltek Vantagepoint
- Strong knowledge of project accounting, WIP reporting, and revenue recognition
- Proven ability to lead teams and improve processes
- CPA is a plus but not required
- Hybrid work schedule
