This role focuses exclusively on urgent care cases for canine and feline patients, providing treatment for non-life-threatening conditions that occur outside regular veterinary clinic hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent medical conditions in companion animals
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
• Perform urgent medical procedures and minor surgical treatments
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnosis and care recommendations
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Eligible for licensure in Florida
• Experience in urgent or small-animal clinical practice preferred
