Advocate Health Care - Up to $32.80/hour - - Responsibilities:
Develops competency in servicing pharmacy customers including obtaining and recording initial demographic information, data entry into the pharmacy system, insurance verification, and label generation, and cashiering.;
Develops competence in dispensing and delivery of medications using information systems, technology, and automation for dispensing, storage, and clerical duties.;
Develops competence in insurance and third-party billing functions including data entry of demographics and third-party information, obtaining prior authorizations, maintaining prior authorization files, investigating and correcting errors in submissions, and handling private insurance and workers compensation.;
Develops competence in clinical support needs such as but not limited to DIR fees.;
Complies with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards including controlled substances procedures and USP requirements.
