Advocate Health Care - 36500 Aurora Drive - Responsibilities:
Assist RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation; measures and documents vital signs and other patient data; documents accurately in Electronic Medical Record (EMR); performs rounds and communicates observations to RN; participates in admission/transfer/discharge processes; ensures patient call light is within reach and responds to lights promptly; collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated;

maintains nursing area stock; cleans equipment and work areas; assists with patient positioning and transporting; supports dietary needs and meal service under direction; maintains skin integrity; ensures necessary supplies and appliances are provided and maintained; may remove IVs, provide post mortem care, and bladder scans as required; adheres to infection prevention policies; demonstrates age-appropriate care knowledge; meet department certifications and education requirements
