Valet Parking Attendant

Job Description

Valet Attendant – Reports to Valet Manager.

To project a professional image at all times. Provide valet parking and front door guest services for visitors and guests.

• Operate, park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws, facility policies and applicable pedestrian regulations.
• Maintain established policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance and safety control. Must be capable of driving both auto and manual transmissions (stick).
• Competently work outdoors in all weather conditions and seasons.
• Customer services is vital for this position.
• Run to and from the vehicle parking area for long periods of time.
• Inform guests of valet option, relevant services, and hours of operation.
• Assist in maintaining the front curbside congestion-free through traffic control, monitoring illegal parking and immediately parking vehicles.
• Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and thanking everyone.
• Assist each guest into and out of their vehicles, with car doors and belongings.
• Take initiative to meet guest’s needs.
• Keep work area clean of debris.
• Follow established dress code and hygiene guidelines.
• Communicate with peers and management.
• Alert appropriate personnel if suspicious activity is noticed during regular course of duty or any unsafe driving conditions.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Full-time. Part-time available.

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred).
• Ability to drive a "stick" manual transmission vehicle: 1 year (Preferred).

• Driver's License (Required) with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a Background Check.
