Job Description
CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Machine Operators/Helpers for CNC Manufacturing Machines, entry level, for a growing client in Odenton, MD.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with stable schedules for manufacturing machine operators/helpers.
Schedule – Mon-Fri 6AM – 3:30 PM with occasional Over-time available.
Location:
Odenton, Maryland
- Work with the machine operator and learn how to operate and verify the quality of work on assigned CNC machines in a manner to consistently meet production standards and qualifications.
- Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines and identify any existing or potential safety issues.
- Attend work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
- Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly complete all documentation related to the position.
- Monitor product constantly to ensure that quality standards are being met.
- Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co‑workers.
- Basic English language skills
- Prior machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred
- Mathematical skills
- Reasoning and problem‑solving skills
- Basic hand tool skills
- Basic blueprint reading
- Basic computer skills
- Mathematical skills
