Nextaff is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time opportunity at an outpatient surgical center in Odenton, MD. If you have experience in surgery, perioperative nursing, the OR, PACU, or an ambulatory surgery setting and are looking for a part-time position, we'd love to connect with you.

As a Surgical RN, you'll work alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the clinical team to provide safe, high-quality care to patients before, during, and/or after outpatient surgical procedures.

• Preparing and assessing patients before surgical procedures
• Providing perioperative nursing care
• Monitoring patients and recognizing changes in condition
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Supporting safe surgical and recovery workflows
• Maintaining infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Completing accurate and timely documentation
• Providing patient and caregiver education
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and other clinical staff

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact/Multi-State RN license
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS preferred
• Previous OR, perioperative, PACU, surgical, or ambulatory surgery experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment

Starting Pay: $47.00/hour This is a part-time position at an outpatient surgical center in Odenton, MD. Scheduling will be based on the center's procedural needs.
