Senior Software Engineer

Leidos offers a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer in our Intel Sector, focusing on Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations, Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence, and Cryptographic Key Management.

Our LOE program provides our customer's Operations organization with the best possible solutions for their mission needs. We achieve this through rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research. We are looking for an experienced senior developer to create custom analytics to perform at scale, working closely with data scientists and end users to develop innovative analytic tools to further discovery and tradecraft around critical global challenges.

• Mission Focus
  :
  Work directly with data scientists and mission analysts to solve strategic problems; perform end-to-end software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, and deploy tools into the customer’s corporate architecture.
• Technical Proficiency
  :
  Strong experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Java Map Reduce, Python PySpark, statistical analysis, machine learning fundamentals; experience with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, and Agile methodologies.
• Qualifications
  :
  Bachelor’s degree plus eleven years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Security Clearance
  :
  Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Desirable Skills
  :
  Experience with software development processes, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Large Models.
