Shipping Associate Computer

Job Description

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a strong Shipping Associate who has prior experience with shipping with major carriers such as UPS, Fed Ex and the USPS and has proficient computer experience navigating shipping and inventory systems for a growing client in ODENTON, MD.

Odenton, Maryland

• Pack orders accurately and safely based on product type.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Label and stage outgoing shipments.
• Perform routine inventory counts.
• Communicate with internal teams regarding order status or shipping concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.
• Perform repetitive movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting for packaging and shipping tasks.

• Proficiency in computer systems, including shipping, inventory, and communication platforms.
• Knowledge of LTL freight shipping, including preparing bills of lading (BOLs), coordinating pickups, and understanding freight classifications.
• Experience shipping with major carriers such as UPS, Fed Ex, and USPS, including their respective systems and platforms.
• Receiving experience, including logging incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and documenting discrepancies.
• Experience with back‑stock organization, including returning finished goods to storage and maintaining proper inventory placement.

7AM – 4:30 PM Monday – Friday with Overtime expected for the Shipping Dept
