The mission of Veolia - Water Activities
Our mission is to produce and distribute drinking water, and to collect and purify wastewater.
We facilitate access to resources, contribute to their preservation and renewal.
What will your missions be?
You will be responsible for a team of 10 to 13 people and participate daily in the proper functioning of the sanitation and drinking water networks in the geographical area of the local unit based in Dol de Bretagne.
Daily:
You will pilot the planning and organization of the operation of the networks in the area (compliance monitoring, network performance, customer activity, connection works…).
You will ensure the quality of the water distributed (drinking water competence desirable).
You will participate in the updating of the network heritage (curing, ITV, leaks, new networks).
You will follow the renewal program and the implementation of contractual commitments.
You will maintain quality relationships with technicians and officials in the area and communicate with various local actors (consumers, municipalities, MOA, Moe, clients).
You will be able to propose improvements to the performance of the drinking water network.
You will be able to use the hydraulic model of the drinking water network "EPANET".
You will participate with the main contractor in the study meetings and follow-up of the community's work.
You will manage the team and ensure the development of each person's skills.
You will embody the company's safety culture and ensure the application of rules and procedures.
Respect for safety rules is fundamental in this position.
On-call duty will require you to intervene in case of emergency to ensure the continuity of service (B permit + service vehicle).
