Accounting Manager

Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing company in Odessa, is seeking an Accounting Manager / Controller to build and lead the accounting function as the organization continues to expand.

• Manage full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Maintain general ledger integrity and account reconciliations
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Oversee inventory accounting and inventory valuation processes
• Analyze cost of sales, margins, and manufacturing‑related financial performance
• Support annual audits, tax compliance, and external reporting requirements
• Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Partner with operations leadership to provide financial insight and decision support

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong accounting foundation with experience in month‑end close and financial reporting
• Experience in manufacturing, inventory accounting, cost accounting, or similar environments preferred
• Understanding of inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, and operational accounting concepts
• Ability to work independently and own the accounting function
