Seeking an Accounting Assistant for a well-established company!
Job duties include:
- Will be responsible for all accounts payables and receivables activities
- Will process vendor invoices, verify invoices, purchase orders and payment requests
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
- Maintain organized AP files and records
- Will prepare and issue customer invoices, process customer payments and apply payments to accounts
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past due accounts
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Assist with monthly AR reporting and collections
- Assist with monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Generate financial reports as requested
