Pico Natural Gas Solutions, a Meritum Energy company, is seeking an experienced Billing & Operations Coordinator. The Billing & Operations Coordinator - Natural Gas Solutions is responsible for managing invoicing, billing validation, operational reporting, and administrative coordination activities for the Natural Gas Solutions team. This role works closely with operations, accounting, procurement, and leadership teams to ensure accurate invoicing, maintain operational records, and support efficient day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Invoicing & Cost Validation
- Manage invoice review and cost validation processes
- Validate freight and third-party vendor invoices
- Track and escalate billing discrepancies or cost anomalies
- Coordinate with accounting and operations teams to resolve invoice issues
- Maintain operational tracking reports, spreadsheets, and documentation
- Maintain job tracking and operational forecasting reports
- Coordinate operational updates across internal teams
- Assist with daily operational and administrative support activities
- Track hotel bookings, receipts, and travel expenses
- Support compliance with travel cost controls and expense tracking
- Support reporting and operational analysis through dashboards and internal systems
- Monitor operational KPIs and reporting data
- Assist with maintaining accurate SCADA system records and operational data
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in billing, invoicing, operations coordination, logistics, or administrative functions
- Natural gas or energy industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with operational systems, reporting tools, or business platforms preferred
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities simultaneously
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using Microsoft Teams and Share Point
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced operational environment
- Experience with billing, invoicing, operational coordination, logistics support, or administrative functions
- Experience with Tableau, SCADA, Geotab, Fleetio, or similar systems preferred but not required

- Office-based role located in Odessa or Kermit, TX
- Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Minimal travel required; onsite field work only when specifically directed
- High emphasis on accuracy, compliance, organization, and system integrity
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must pass pre-employment screening and background check
