The HSE Superintendent is responsible for implementing and maintaining HSE management systems, policies, and processes across assigned rigs to ensure consistent compliance and safe operations. This role drives a strong safety culture by promoting accountability, monitoring performance metrics, and continuously improving HSE outcomes. This is a rotational position operating on a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off schedule.

DAYIN THE LIFE:
- Provide 24/7 HSE support with a strong field presence (up to 80%), delivering hands - on coaching, training, and leadership to rig and shop personnel
- Lead and reinforce HSE standards, policies, and Life Saving Actions, promoting a culture of safety and accountability across operations
- Monitor and communicate HSE performance metrics (KPIs), identifying trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct rig inspections, hazard assessments, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements
- Partner with operations leadership to close performance gaps, support emergency response planning, and coordinate HSE training and development for field employees
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field preferred, with 5+ years of oilfield or heavy industry experience and a strong safety record
- Solid knowledge of HSE Management Systems, regulatory requirements, hazard assessments, and incident investigations
- Valid driver’s license required, with the ability to operate company vehicles per policy
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem - solving skills, with the ability to influence and support all levels of the organization
- Highly organized and detail - oriented professional with strong decision - making skills and the ability to perform effectively in high - pressure environments
