Help keep Odessa safe and growing. In this role, you’ll support Building Inspections by enforcing codes, overseeing inspections, and assisting with daily division operations.
What You’ll Do:- Review plans and ensure code compliance
- Supervise building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical inspections
- Support inspectors and coordinate field activities
- Oversee permit review and issuance
- Advice contractors and represent the division as needed
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 years in construction or code administration (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of building codes and plan review
- Leadership and communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- ICC certifications preferred
