Locums Urology Physician , Long-Term

Pick up recurring week-long coverage blocks in a hospital-based urology practice with ongoing scheduling flexibility and a balanced inpatient workflow.

• Flexible monthly block scheduling
• Long-term assignment
• Hospital-based inpatient practice
• Level III trauma setting

• Provide inpatient urology coverage with consults, rounding, procedures, and post-operative management
• Average approximately 10 patients per day and 50 procedures per month
• Two half-day post-operative clinics during each coverage block with no new patient visits
• Robotic platform available but robotic experience is not required

• Monday-to-Monday coverage blocks
• Continuous 24-hour call during assigned weeks
• Recurring coverage of 1-2 weeks per month
• One clinic day per week split into two half-day sessions

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Urology
• Active Texas medical license required
• BLS and DEA required

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
• Travel accommodations are arranged for scheduled coverage blocks
