/ Evaluator - B-3 Early Childhood Special Education (LTS) Long Term Substitute Position December 15, 2025 to June 5, 2026

Job Summary

This is a long-term substitute Birth to Three early childhood special education position with the Sherburne and Northern Wright Special Education Cooperative. The teacher will work with families and students ages birth to three. They will complete evaluations and/or provide early intervention services during home visits in our three member districts – Becker, Big Lake, and Monticello. The teacher will collaborate with other service providers to best meet the needs of our students and families.

License
  • Licensed in the State of Minnesota to teach Early Childhood Special Education (B-Age
    6)
  • Valid Minnesota Driver’s License
Essential Skills Required
  • Must be able to assure and implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education
  • Must be able to follow and implement all due process and timeline requirements in special education
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers and families
  • Experience completing initial Part C and B evaluations with infants, toddlers, and their families
  • Effective communication and teaming skills
  • Willingness to be flexible
  • Excellent attendance
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Position requires frequent travel within service area for home visits
  • Knowledge and application of technology and assistive technology
  • Skilled in adapting activities to the individual needs of students to facilitate learning and to assist in meeting individual learning goals
  • Maintain confidentiality of information about students and families
  • Experience working with diverse students and families

Daily Rate: $241
