We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician to join our team specializing in Power Generation in Odessa, TX.

$10,000 Sign on Bonus!

Responsibilities
  • Completing preventative maintenance and basic repair activities on generators or components at the customer site with minimal direction.
  • Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Applying specialized tools and following documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools.
  • Completing required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  • Completing training in line with skill and business requirements.
  • Adhering to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reporting any issues or incidents to supervisors.
  • Performing preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field.
  • Escalating unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or supervisors.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred).
  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution.
  • Current relevant electrical certification.
  • Locally valid driving permit.
Experience
  • Basic level field service work experience.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products.
  • High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Must have Power Gen capabilities.
Required Skills
  • Experience repairing and maintaining generators or similar mechanical/electrical equipment.
  • Strong understanding of engine systems, electrical circuits, and control systems.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to noise, heat, cold, and outdoor conditions.
