Field Technician

Intelligent Wellhead Systems (IWS) is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Field Technician to join our team. IWS designs, tests, manufactures, and deploys proprietary digital safety and efficiency workflow technologies for oil and gas well completion operations. Our in Vision™ Technology Platform helps oil and gas and oilfield service companies reduce operating risk, lower the total cost of operations, and improve uptime.

IWS is seeking a highly motivated Field Technician to provide onsite equipment installation, training, and troubleshooting of IWS control and data systems.

Essential Job Functions:

• Interact with customers daily through in-person, verbal, and written interactions and basic field interaction.
• Install and set up electrical hardware, mechanical hardware, and software at customer sites.
• Configure network devices related to the in Vision™ systems and components with training.
• Train customers and/or third‑party service personnel to use IWS equipment properly.
• Generate field reports, gather data, and perform light data analysis.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all electronic, electrical, and computer‑based equipment.
• Rig‑up/rig‑out equipment, inspect, maintain, and organize various types of equipment.
• Provide hands‑on and remote field support to customers and third‑party services on customer sites.
• Work independently to self‑dispatch to remote locations.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an oil and gas well completion related service line.
• Experience in field‑based operations, general maintenance tasks, wellsite knowledge and awareness.
• Ability to work away from home.
• Ability to adapt to ever changing work environment and/or priorities of work assignments.
• Strong computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft‑based products (IWS will train the successful candidate to interface and network corresponding proprietary hardware and software systems).
• Ability to provide detailed and complete reports efficiently.
• Effective oral, written, and social communication skills.
• Interest in current and emerging technologies that help achieve organizational goals and targets.
