Field Coordinator I – Energy Solutions Products
The Field Coordinator I – Energy Solutions Products supports the execution of Energy Solutions service delivery across West Texas and North Dakota, with a primary base in West Texas (Midland area preferred). The role supports planning and coordination of ES job execution by partnering with the Technical Manager, Operations leadership, Sales, Product Line Managers (PLMs), field technicians, and customers. Key responsibilities include job readiness, asset and hardware logistics, scheduling field personnel, coordinating rig‑up/rig‑down and rig‑move activities, monitoring service quality, and serving as an operational customer interface for assigned projects.
This position typically works Monday–Friday and requires up to 50% travel.
- Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards are upheld in all operations and actively contribute to the achievement of regional safety goals.
- Coordinate all aspects of ES job execution across West Texas and North Dakota, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring service delivery;
North Dakota operations are expected to be largely stable with minimal on‑site intervention. - Work with Sales and PLMs to scope new jobs, prepare proposals, and define hardware and resource requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate third‑party contractors supporting ES operations, verifying performance expectations, compliance with Nabors HSE standards, and proper job execution.
- Conduct regular assessments of ES units sitting in regional yards, documenting unit condition, readiness status, and any maintenance or repair needs.
- Oversee rig‑up, rig‑down, and rig‑move activities for ES equipment, ensuring safe and timely execution.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for customers, providing onboarding support, answering technical or service questions, and maintaining regular touchpoints.
- Monitor service quality and equipment performance, escalating troubleshooting or sustaining issues to appropriate internal teams.
- Track job status, document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of ES service processes.
- Maintain accurate job documentation and provide updates to management and customers as required.
- Associate’s degree or trade certificate in engineering, electrical, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in oilfield drilling services, operations coordination, or field support.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple field operations simultaneously across multiple regions.
- Experience with field billing processes, ticket management, and customer sign‑off procedures.
- Comfortable supervising and directing third‑party contractors in a field environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; comfortable interacting with field technicians and external customers.
- Working knowledge of electrical and drilling systems, networking, or connected equipment preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to field sites and customer locations.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Previous experience coordinating multi‑region oilfield operations.
- Familiarity with yard asset management or equipment readiness tracking.
- Customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
