Corrosion Technicians - Odessa Midstream - Up to $123,200/year - Odessa, TX

Corrosion Technicians at Phillips 66 play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and safety of pipeline and terminal assets in the Odessa Midstream region. This position involves hands-on fieldwork, troubleshooting, and compliance activities to mitigate corrosion risks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to develop technical skills in corrosion control within a supportive team environment.

What You’ll Need
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 1 or more years of experience with current corrosion control methods
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Successful completion of an online assessment within 7 days of application or before job posting expiration
What Will Make You Stand Out
  • Associate degree or higher in Corrosion Technology or related field
  • 1 or more years of experience with AC Mitigation
  • 1 or more years of experience with various types of CP troubleshooting equipment
  • 1 or more years of experience with corrosion control issues associated with pipeline operations
  • NACE CP Level I Certification or higher or equivalent certification
  • Beginner proficiency in SAP, CPDM, or other Cathodic Protection Data Management systems
  • Ability to read and understand CIS, DCVG, ACVG, PCM, and other forms of CP data
  • Working knowledge of DOT 195 & 192 (49 CFR 195 & 192)
  • Experience with Regulatory Audit participation
