The City of Odessa is seeking a Utilities Engineer Intern to support infrastructure projects and daily operations within Utilities Administration.
What You’ll Do:- Assist with reviewing engineering plans for water and sewer projects
- Support pipeline design, job orders, and project documentation
- Help evaluate layouts, slopes, and compliance with City standards
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Basic knowledge of engineering concepts and Microsoft Office
- Interest in utilities, infrastructure, or public service
- Junior or senior in college (Engineering or related field)
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week
Gain hands‑on experience working on real infrastructure projects that support the Odessa community.
