Insight Global is seeking a Project Commissioning Manager on behalf of a leading EPC contractor in the power generation industry. This individual will lead commissioning activities for large-scale power generation projects, ensuring systems are safely tested, started up, and transitioned into operation.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading commissioning teams within power generation, renewable energy, industrial facilities, or EPC environments, along with a strong understanding of project execution, startup processes, and client-facing leadership.
This position is based at a project site in Texas and offers the opportunity to move onto future projects upon successful completion.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience supporting commissioning, startup, operations, or construction activities within power generation, industrial, renewable energy, or EPC environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading commissioning teams on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of power plant commissioning processes, startup procedures, and project lifecycle execution.
- Experience managing client relationships and coordinating with multiple project stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, testing procedures, and commissioning documentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced project environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with combined-cycle power plants, simple-cycle plants, renewable energy facilities, or large industrial projects.
- Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), Associate Commissioning Professional (ACP), or similar certification.
- Previous EPC contractor experience.
