City of Odessa – Planning Department
Are you organized, tech-savvy, and interested in how cities grow and develop? The City of Odessa is looking for a Planning Technician to support our Planning Department with plan reviews, zoning questions, and public service.
What You’ll Do:- Review building plans and permits
- Help with zoning and land use requests
- Create maps and update case files using GIS
- Assist the public, builders, and developers with planning questions
- Keep accurate digital and paper records
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Great attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
